About the human behind these treats...

Cooking is certainly an expression of oneself, but if you were to ask me explicitly what I am expressing, I would struggle to answer. These “expressions” have been crafted out of curiosity, a desire for perfection, and an overwhelming need to share the language of flavor. From the classics to the experimental, I try to make my dishes different from their known taste.

I do not have stories about family recipes passed down over generations, nor do I have the memories of baking when younger that typically spark the culinary bug; I grew up in foster care and so flavors and textures were of zero concern while chasing peace. Rather, over the last ten years or so I’ve realized I have a natural talent in the kitchen. From dessert dumplings to mini quiche, I find myself becoming one with the kitchen as  I flow through it as if I grew up with a Chef.

I look forward to creating new dishes and sharing them with the community. Please feel free to share feedback, I am always looking to improve!

Thank you for sharing this opportunity with me,

RaeRae
